Possible/Unknown Spanish Features

Overview:

Within the Mosin Nagant collector community there are many markings that have yet to have their true meaning be 100% identified. Among these markings are several that have a possibility of being indicators of Spanish possession but have yet to be proven for sure. Therefore it must be noted that the following features cannot be used to truly identify a Mosin Nagant rifle as at some point being in Spanish possession.

Contents:
  • The Five Punch Mark
  • The "Sun" Wrist Mark
  • "MI8" Stamp
  • NCL Cartouche
